Window tinting software that quotes the glass and tracks the film
Quote a car per vehicle or a house per square foot of glass, get it approved on the customer's phone, and the invoice builds itself. When the install is done, the card is charged and the film comes off your stock.
From $30/mo · 14-day free trial · no credit card · installers free
Tint is a one-and-done job, so the app is set up that way: no "how often?" question, no recurring plans, just quote, book, install and get paid. Pick window tinting when you sign up and the tint price list, the checklist and the film inventory are ready when you log in.
Three kinds of tint job, one price list
The quote starts with "What are we tinting?" and shows only the prices for that kind of job.
Vehicle
Year, make, model and type: car or coupe, SUV or crossover, truck, van or minivan. Priced per vehicle, with add-ons like a windshield sun strip.
Home
Measure each window size in inches and the square feet add up. Solar, ceramic, privacy and safety films priced per square foot, each with its own minimum.
Commercial
Storefronts and offices priced per square foot from the measured glass, with old film removal and ladder work as extra lines.
Measure the glass, and the price follows
Stand at the window with your tape. Type width by height in inches and how many of that size, and "Measure the glass" keeps a running total in square feet. Tap the total onto a film and the line prices itself, never below that film's minimum.
- Flat glass per square foot, vehicles per vehicle, French panes per pane, extras flat
- A starter tint price list: home solar, home ceramic, privacy and decorative, safety and security, commercial solar, carbon and ceramic auto tint, SUV, truck and van, windshield sun strip, old film removal, divided glass and second-story work
- One tap adds the vehicle, home or commercial prices you don't have yet, without touching the ones you do
- Change any price, rename it or add your own
- The customer's quote shows the vehicle, or a table of the glass measured
| 36 × 60 in × 3 | 45 sq ft |
| 48 × 36 in × 2 | 24 sq ft |
| Total | 69 sq ft |
An example of the measuring card. Tap the total onto a film to price it at your rate.

Know how much film is really on the shelf
Tint is bought and installed by the square foot, so that's how FieldStacker counts it.
Every film you stock
Add each film by brand, film line and shade. Set the roll size and the cost per square foot.
Receive and count
Log rolls or square feet as they arrive, or set the count after a stocktake. Every change is kept in a list of recent changes.
Used film comes off
Link each price to the film it uses. When a job is completed, its square feet plus your waste percentage come off that film, once per job.
Low-stock alerts
Set a low level per film and you get an alert before you run out mid-install.
Shared with the team
Your installers can see your films. Only you change them, and a film you stop selling is retired with its history kept.
Honest when it's off
Stock can go below zero, which tells you a job used film you never logged receiving.
A tint checklist built around what goes wrong
The installer works through 21 steps in five parts: before you start, right film on the right glass, prep, install and finish. The expensive mistakes are decided before the film is cut.
- Confirm the film and shade on every window with the customer
- Photograph chips, cracks, failed seals and old film before touching the glass
- Check home and business glass against the film maker's glass chart
- Meter vehicle glass so the finished shade stays inside the state's legal limit
- Rear defroster lines checked on vehicles
- After photos, aftercare explained and warranty details given
Scheduling and crew pay
- Install Dispatch to book and move installs
- A reminder email to the customer the day before
- Pay installers per square foot, per vehicle, per job, a percentage or hourly
- Installers you add as technicians ride along free
Let customers price it on your website
Put the quote builder on your own website. A customer picks from your tint services, sees the price and books a one-time install, without a phone call. Prices are checked again on our server, so an old copy of the page can't undercut you.
What it costs
Pro is $30/mo, or $25/mo billed yearly, with quotes, invoices, card payments, scheduling and your website. Team is $60/mo for 3 people. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no card.
Window tinting questions
What does FieldStacker do for a window tinting business?
It quotes the job, turns the accepted quote into the invoice, books the install, gives the installer a checklist, charges the card when the job is done and takes the film you used off your stock. Vehicle, home and commercial tint all work from one price list.
Can I quote cars and flat glass in the same app?
Yes. The quote starts with "What are we tinting?": Vehicle, Home or Commercial, and only the prices for that kind of job show. A vehicle quote takes the year, make, model and type (car or coupe, SUV or crossover, truck, van or minivan) and is priced per vehicle. Home and commercial glass is priced per square foot.
How do I work out the square footage of the glass?
Use "Measure the glass" on the quote: type each window size as width by height in inches and how many of that size, and it totals the square feet. Tap the total onto a film and the price works itself out, with that film's minimum charge. The customer sees the glass measured on their quote.
Does an accepted tint quote become the invoice?
Yes. When the customer approves the quote, or you book the job, FieldStacker builds the invoice from the same lines. You can open it or copy its pay link, and the customer sees a button to view and pay it. A card saved at booking is charged when the job is done.
Can it track my film inventory?
Yes. Add each film by brand, line and shade, and keep its stock in square feet. Log rolls as they arrive, set a waste percentage and a low-stock level, and link each price to the film it uses. When a job is completed, its square feet plus the waste come off that film once, and you get an alert when a film runs low.
Does FieldStacker do recurring plans for tint?
No, and on purpose: tint is a one-time job, so the tint setup hides the "How often?" question and recurring plans. Each quote is a single install.
How much does it cost?
Pro is $30/mo, or $25/mo billed yearly, with a 14-day free trial and no card to start. Team is $60/mo for 3 people. Installers you add as technicians are free. The $30 plan includes quoting and invoicing; the Website & Hosting plan does not.
