How FieldStacker ("the Company") collects, uses, and protects information.

Last updated July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the FieldStacker service ("the Service") collects and how it is used. FieldStacker is field sales and service software for door-to-door and mobile businesses — alarms, solar, pest control, fiber, and mobile field-service trades. This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your name, email, phone number, the business you work for, and password (stored hashed).
  • Usage & activity: the knocks, quotes, jobs, estimates, invoices, and installs you log, plus general app-usage data that helps us run and improve the Service.
  • Customer & lead data you enter or pull: quotes, jobs, and contact details for the customers you work, and any just-sold home or property/owner data you source through the Service.
  • Location: approximate or device location used for mapping, routing, and mileage tracking, when you enable it.
  • Device & notifications: basic device information and push-notification tokens so we can deliver alerts you opt into.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the Service. That means running your knock map and quotes, sourcing leads, scheduling jobs and installs, creating estimates and invoices, taking payments, tracking your sales and 1099 finances, sending notifications you request, processing billing, providing support, and keeping the Service secure.

Third parties we rely on

We share data only as needed to provide the Service, with providers such as:

  • Stripe: payment processing. Card details go directly to Stripe; we do not store them.
  • Google Maps Platform: maps, geocoding, routing, and driving-distance for mileage.
  • Google Calendar (optional): if you connect it, we sync the appointments you schedule to your own calendar — see “Google account data (Calendar sync)” below.
  • Property & lead-data providers supply just-sold home leads and, on plans that include it, homeowner owner-of-record information.
  • Email & push-notification services deliver verification, alerts, invoices, and support messages.

We do not sell your personal information.

Google account data (Calendar sync)

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, FieldStacker requests permission to view and edit events on your calendars (the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope). We use this access for one purpose only: to power the calendar features you asked for — checking your availability when a customer books a job or consultation, and creating, updating, or removing the appointments you schedule in FieldStacker on your own Google Calendar. We request it only when you connect Google Calendar, and you can disconnect at any time in the app or at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which revokes our access. We store only what’s needed to keep those events in sync (such as event identifiers and your authorization tokens, held securely); we do not copy or retain the rest of your calendar.

Limited Use. FieldStacker’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Google Calendar data solely to provide and improve these calendar features; we do not sell it; we do not transfer it to others except as necessary to provide or improve the feature, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition; we do not use it for advertising; and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, where necessary for security or to comply with the law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

AI features and Limited Use. Some FieldStacker features use artificial intelligence provided by Anthropic (the Claude API) — for example, drafting follow-up messages, coaching sales objections, and reading receipts you photograph. Our use of any information received from Google Workspace APIs, including Google Calendar data, is never used, transferred, or sold to create, train, retrain, or improve any generalized or foundational machine-learning or artificial- intelligence model, whether our own or a third party’s. Anthropic processes data submitted to its API under commercial terms that prohibit using that data to train its models, and Google user data is not shared with any AI provider for training or any other secondary purpose. This use adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies & sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to operate core features. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period. If you disconnect Google Calendar or delete your account, we delete the associated Google authorization tokens and synced event references. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, though no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

Your choices

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your account information by contacting us. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the app or at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and you can turn off location and push notifications from your device or account settings.

Your responsibility for customer data

As a user, you are responsible for handling the customer, lead, and homeowner information you collect through the Service lawfully, including obtaining any consent required and honoring Do-Not-Call and privacy rules in your area.

Children

The Service is for business use by adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
