For advertising & media sales

The advertising sales CRM for reps who sell to local businesses

Find the businesses on your map, pitch them in person, send a proposal built from your ad packages, and get paid at signing. FieldStacker sends the monthly invoices and reminds you when it is time to renew.

The short answer: FieldStacker is a CRM for ad reps who sell face to face. It puts local businesses on a map, tracks each one through ad-sales stages from Prospect to Signed and Renewal, builds proposals from your own package catalog, takes the payment due at signing by card, and emails the monthly invoices for the rest of the term.

Selling local advertising is a long game played in person. You walk into a restaurant, get the manager's name, come back when the owner is in, pitch, send a proposal, and follow up until it is signed. Then the work changes: invoice every month, keep the client happy, and be back in front of them before the contract ends.

Map apps for field sales usually stop at the pipeline, and media billing systems are not built for a rep on foot. FieldStacker keeps the whole cycle in one app on your phone.

Your ad-sales pipeline, on a map

Each business has a stage, a colour on the map, a point of contact and a visit history.

ProspectA business you added from the map or a CSV import
Spoke to ownerYou reached the owner or decision maker, saved as the point of contact with their position
PitchedYou presented, and the next step is on the card
Proposal sentA proposal built from your packages is waiting for approval
SignedThey said yes. Finish the proposal and collect the amount due at signing
RenewalThe term is ending: time to go back in
GatekeeperYou met the front desk, not the owner. Come back
Has an agencyThey already work with someone else. Worth a check-in later

Packages and proposals

Build the proposal from your own ad packages

Set up your catalog once: each package can be monthly or one-time, with a term, a setup fee and add-ons. Not sure where to start? Add the sample packages and change them to yours.

  • Proposals addressed "Attn: name, position" to the person you actually met
  • The business approves online and pays the amount due at signing by card
  • Monthly invoices are created and emailed for the rest of the term

Approve and pay the amount due at signing

The business sees this on their phone and pays by card.

After the signature

The part most field-sales apps leave to a spreadsheet.

Paid at signing

The amount due at signing is paid by card when they approve.

2

Invoiced monthly

Each month's invoice is created and emailed automatically until the term ends.

3

Overdue at a glance

Your Businesses list shows monthly revenue, months left and overdue invoices.

4

Renewed in one tap

A reminder comes before the term ends. Tap 🔁 Renew to start the next one.

Local businesses on the map

Name, category, phone and website from public map data (© Overture Maps Foundation), with no per-lookup charge. Listings can be out of date, so flag Closed, Moved, Wrong phone or Not a business.

📍

Visits that prove themselves

Every visit is in the history, and visits logged at the business are marked "at the spot" by GPS.

Voice notes

Talk through the visit after you walk out. AI fills in the card, and you check it before it saves.

Team tools

Distribute businesses to reps, draw territories, watch the live team map and compare stats.

Texting businesses: two-way texting is an add-on, $15/mo for 600 texts from your own business number (the carriers require a business EIN). Only text a business after they have agreed to get texts from you. A phone number on a listing is not permission.

What it does not do: FieldStacker does not schedule ad inventory, run traffic logs or report on campaign results, and it does not charge monthly invoices to a card automatically.

Questions ad reps ask

What is an advertising sales CRM?

A CRM for the people who sell ads: it keeps track of the businesses you are working, who you spoke to, what you pitched, the proposal you sent, and what each signed client owes and when they renew. FieldStacker adds the field side: the local businesses around you on a map, visit check-ins and an AI objection coach, so it works for reps who sell in person.

Who is it for?

Reps and small teams who sell advertising to local businesses face to face: radio and TV stations, newspapers and magazines, coupon books and mailers, local directories, billboards, and agencies or resellers selling digital marketing packages like websites, search ads or social media management.

How do monthly ad contracts get billed?

Your packages can be monthly with a term, for example 6 or 12 months, plus a setup fee and add-ons. When the business approves the proposal, they pay the amount due at signing by card. FieldStacker then creates and emails each month's invoice for the rest of the term, and your Businesses list shows what is overdue. The business pays each invoice; cards are not charged automatically.

What happens when a contract ends?

You get a renewal reminder before the term ends, and one tap on Renew starts a new term for the same business, so you know when to go back in person.

Can I practise handling objections?

Yes. The AI objection coach plays a business owner and pushes back the way owners do, such as "we tried radio and it didn't work" or "we already have an agency". Every answer gets a score and a stronger line you could have used. It is practice, not a script you have to read.

Does it replace my station's or publisher's traffic and billing system?

No. FieldStacker does not schedule ad inventory, run traffic logs, handle make-goods or report on campaign results. It covers the sales side: finding and visiting businesses, proposals, signing, the monthly invoices for what you sold, and renewals. If your company already bills through its own system, you can still use FieldStacker for prospecting, the pipeline and proposals.

How much does it cost?

Pro is $30/mo for one rep, or $25/mo billed yearly. Team is $60/mo for you plus 2 seats, $20 a person ($16.67 billed yearly). Team Pro is $250/mo for you plus 15 seats, 16 people at $15.63 each ($12.50 billed yearly). Every plan has a 14-day free trial with no credit card, and it is month to month.

Where do the businesses on the map come from?

Public map data from the Overture Maps Foundation: name, category and, where available, phone and website. There is no per-lookup charge. Listings can be out of date, so you can flag a business as Closed, Moved, Wrong phone or Not a business. You can also import your own list from a CSV file.
