Six options, by who they fit
In no particular order of merit. Read the "best for" line first.
GorillaDesk
Best for: small and growing pest companies that want pest-first tools and published prices.
Does well: pricing by route, with admin, office, sales and crew users free. The Pro plan adds a customer portal, online booking, subscription billing, e-signatures, device tracking and barcoding, and QuickBooks Online sync. It also lists lawn care and 29 other trades.
Price: Basic $49/mo, Pro $99/mo, Growth $149/mo, each with 1 route. Extra routes are $50/mo each on Pro (checked October 26, 2026).
Limitation: the bill grows with every truck. On Growth, a second route is $100/mo.
PestPac by WorkWave
Best for: established pest companies that want a pest-only system set up with a consultant.
Does well: it is built only for pest control, with Small Business, Professional and Enterprise tiers for companies as they grow into branches.
Price: pricing on request. The pricing page asks you to speak with a consultant (checked October 26, 2026).
Limitation: no published price, so you can't compare costs or start on your own today. See our PestPac alternative page.
FieldRoutes
Best for: pest and lawn companies scaling up who want routing at the center. FieldRoutes is a ServiceTitan company.
Does well: route planning, a drag-and-drop scheduler with automated reminders, autopay, and a mobile app for contracts, payments and service.
Price: pricing on request. Growth and Corporate plans both say "Request Pricing", and the subscription is based on your number of active customers (checked October 26, 2026).
Limitation: you start with a demo, and the cost rises as your customer count grows.
FieldStacker
Best for: owner-operators and small crews who want flat pricing, recurring plans and their marketing in one app.
Does well: initial and recurring price on one estimate, service plans with card on file and autopay, re-services as go-backs, day routes, a customer portal and QuickBooks Online sync. A website, 10 business emails and a door-to-door knock map are included, and postcards are paid per card.
Price: $30/mo, or $25/mo billed yearly. Team is $60/mo for you plus 2 seats. Techs you add as technicians are free.
Limitation: not pest-specific. No state-format pesticide application reports, termite forms or bait-station barcode scans.
Jobber
Best for: companies that run pest alongside lawn or other services and want a polished general tool.
Does well: quotes, invoicing with online payments, online booking and a website on Core. Connect adds automatic payment collection, checklists, follow-ups and QuickBooks Online sync.
Price: Core $49/mo for 1 user. Connect starts at $139/mo for 1 user. Extra users are $29/mo each (checked October 26, 2026).
Limitation: not pest-specific, and job costing sits on Grow, from $199/mo. See FieldStacker vs Jobber.
ServiceTitan
Best for: large residential and commercial trade companies, pest among them.
Does well: a deep platform with Starter, Essentials and The Works plans for companies with big office teams.
Price: pricing on request. Every plan says "Request Pricing", and the page says pricing is per technician (checked October 26, 2026).
Limitation: built for larger operations, and contract and onboarding terms are not on the pricing page.

How to choose software for your pest control business
Four questions narrow the list fast.
Do you need compliance reports?
If inspectors expect formal application records or you scan bait stations, put pest-specific tools at the top of your list.
How do they price growth?
Per route, per user, per technician or per active customer. Work out next year's bill with one more truck.
Is recurring billing on the plan you'd buy?
Autopay after each visit is the feature that pays for the software. Check which tier includes it.
Can you try it this week?
A no-card trial lets you load your real routes. A demo-first tool adds a sales cycle before you can test it.
See what each visit actually made
Every finished job shows what the customer paid, how they paid, what the parts cost you and what you kept. For a pest company that means you can see whether a re-service-heavy neighborhood is still worth the drive. Parts, labor and expenses go against each job, and invoices and payments sync to QuickBooks Online.
Unpaid visits in one filter
One list holds every estimate and invoice, with the month's revenue and profit at the top. Filter to unpaid to chase the few customers whose card declined, or send up to 100 finished visits at once with batch invoicing. Unpaid-invoice reminders go out on their own if you switch them on.
Pest control software questions
What is the best software for a pest control business?
It depends on size. A one- or two-truck company usually wants published pricing, recurring plans with autopay and something it can set up this week, which points to GorillaDesk, FieldStacker or Jobber. A larger company with branches and compliance needs usually talks to PestPac, FieldRoutes or ServiceTitan, all of which quote pricing on request.
Which pest control software is cheapest?
Of the tools that publish prices, FieldStacker starts at $30/mo with techs free, and GorillaDesk and Jobber both start at $49/mo, as of October 26, 2026. The cheapest sticker is not always the cheapest bill: check how each one charges for extra trucks or users, and what card processing costs.
Do I need pest-specific software or will general field service software work?
If you have to hand state inspectors formal pesticide application records, or you track bait stations by barcode, pest-specific software saves real time. If your work is mostly quarterly and monthly service with re-services, general field service software with good recurring plans, routing and autopay covers the day-to-day.
Which pest control software has a free trial?
FieldStacker and Jobber each offer a 14-day free trial with no credit card, and GorillaDesk offers a 14-day trial. PestPac, FieldRoutes and ServiceTitan start with a consultation or demo, so plan for a sales call before you can try them.
Can I move my customers from my current pest software?
Usually, yes. Most tools export customers to CSV. FieldStacker imports CSV or Excel files up to 250 MB with undo, and we import your customers and jobs for you for free. Ask your current vendor for an export that includes service addresses and plan details.
