An Invoice2go app alternative that also runs the job

Invoice2go is a simple, low-cost way to send invoices and get paid. FieldStacker sends the invoice too, and also runs the request, the schedule, your techs and the repeat visits.

Pro $30/mo, or $25/mo billed yearly · 14-day free trial · no contract

The short answer: The Invoice2go app is a good pick if you mostly send invoices: plans start at $7.99 a month, team members are not capped, and you get a business bank account, a debit card and free bank transfers. Pick FieldStacker if you also need a schedule board, techs on their phones, service plans with autopay, online booking, QuickBooks Online sync and a website, from $30/mo with techs free.

Invoice2go is built around the invoice, and it does that job well: custom templates, automatic payment reminders, notices when a client opens or pays, receipts, a no-fee business bank account with a Visa debit card, free ACH bank transfers and PayPal at 2.9% + 30¢. Estimates, clients, projects and team members are not capped on any plan, and every plan includes expenses, appointments and scheduling, time tracking, ratings and reviews, and email marketing. What changes between plans is how many invoices you can send and the card fee.

Invoice 2 go app plans, checked October 26, 2026

Starter is $7.99 a month for 2 invoices a month, or $79.99 a year for 30 a year, with a 3.5% card fee. Professional is $11.99 a month for 5 invoices a month, or $119.99 a year for 100, with a 3% card fee and QuickBooks or Xero sync. Premium is $44.99 a month or $449.99 a year with no invoice cap, a 2.9% card fee, recurring invoices and phone support. The trial is 30 days and needs a credit card; Invoice2go says you are not charged if you cancel inside 30 days. Financing, installment payments and instant payouts are marked "coming soon".

Where a service business outgrows an invoice app

Once you have a few techs and repeat customers, the invoice is the last step of a longer job: the request comes in, someone quotes it, it goes on a tech's day, the tech does the work, and then it gets billed. FieldStacker runs every step, so the invoice is built from the job instead of typed from memory. See how that works on our invoice app for contractors page.

Questions people ask

How much is the Invoice2go app?

On invoice.2go.com/pricing, checked October 26, 2026: Starter is $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year, Professional is $11.99 a month or $119.99 a year, and Premium is $44.99 a month or $449.99 a year. Starter and Professional cap how many invoices you can send.

Is the Invoice2go app free?

No free plan is shown. There is a 30-day free trial, and it needs a credit card, though Invoice2go says it will not charge you if you cancel within 30 days. FieldStacker's 14-day trial needs no card, and after it Pro is $30 a month.

Is Invoice2go good for contractors with a crew?

It is good for billing, and team members are not capped. It is lighter on running the work: the pricing page lists appointments and time tracking, but not a schedule board for techs, job checklists or recurring service visits. If you dispatch techs, an app that runs the job and the invoice together will save you retyping.

What does Invoice2go charge for card payments?

The card fee depends on your plan: 3.5% on Starter, 3.0% on Professional and 2.9% on Premium. PayPal payments are 2.9% + 30¢ and bank transfers are free on every plan. FieldStacker uses your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rates, with nothing added.

Does FieldStacker have a bank account like Invoice2go?

No. FieldStacker pays out through your own Stripe account, and you can record cash, check, Cash App, Venmo and Zelle payments so your books match. If a built-in bank account and debit card matter to you, that is a real reason to keep Invoice2go.

Can I move my clients from Invoice2go to FieldStacker?

Yes. Export your clients as CSV or Excel and import them, up to 250 MB, with an undo if something looks off. We import your customers and jobs for you for free.
