Try a look

This is the real thing, not a video: one phone photo, the roofline traced in the app, drawn live in your browser. Tap a colour or an effect. Your customer sees the same on your phone, and on the page their postcard opens.

The short answer: FieldStacker is a sales system built for permanent lighting companies that sell in person. It runs the sale in order, on one record per house: find the door, show the homeowner their own house lit up, measure the roofline, quote by the foot with your three packages, sign with a deposit, mail the not-homes a printed postcard of their own house lit up every Sunday, then hand the crew an install sheet with the parts list and pay the rep.

Permanent lights sell when people can see them on their own home. A brochure of somebody else's house only goes so far. A picture of their roofline glowing, on your phone, while they are standing in the driveway, turns "maybe next year" into "how much?"

Seven steps, one system

A lighting sale happens in the same order every time. FieldStacker is built around that order, and every step lands on the same house.

Not home? Mail them their house

Who throws away a postcard of their own house?

Most doors don't answer. Snap the house, trace the roofline and tap Mail it. Sunday night a printed postcard goes out: their home at night with your lights on it, your logo on the front and your phone number on the back. It's the postcard that goes on the fridge.

  • Automatic: every Sunday night the houses in your mailing go out, 20 or more at a time. Or press Mail now
  • $0.99 a card, printed and mailed. No design fee, no setup
  • Your logo and phone number on every card, in our design or your own
  • The QR code opens their own house lit up: they try colours and call you from there
  • See who scanned it, the colours they tried and who wrote back, house by house

Busy street? Snap the photo, tap Light it up later, and light up the whole list when you get home.

The knock map

Every house on one map

Each door you knock is a pin with its status, notes, photos and history. Open a pin to measure the roofline, show them their house lit up, and quote it, without leaving the porch.

  • Voice notes after the door: talk, and the card fills itself in
  • Go-backs, so the "come back after the holidays" doors get a second knock
  • Territories and a live team map for the manager

Questions lighting companies ask

What is a permanent lighting sales system?

The tools a permanent lighting company uses to go from a knock to a lit house, in the order the sale happens: find the doors, show the homeowner their own house lit up, measure the roofline, quote by the foot, sign with a deposit, follow up, then the install sheet for the crew and the rep's pay. FieldStacker runs all seven steps on one record per house, so nothing is typed twice between the driveway, the office and the crew.

Is FieldStacker a CRM with a lighting add-on?

No. It keeps every house, contact, note and visit the way a CRM does, but the lighting sale is built into it: the lit-up picture of their own house, the roofline measure, per-foot packages, the deposit, the install parts list and lighting pay plans. They work together on the same house, from the first knock to the lights going on.

How does "Show it lit up" work?

Take a photo of the house from the street. The app turns it to night, you tap along the roofline, and the lights appear in the look you pick: warm white, Christmas, Halloween, 4th of July, team colours and more, steady or with an effect. Show it full screen at the door, share the picture with your logo on it, or email it as a postcard. It is drawn on your phone in seconds, so there is no charge per picture.

What does the homeowner get by email?

A postcard from your business with their house lit up, your note and your phone number. A button opens a page with the picture full size, Call, Text and Email buttons, and a short form to send you a message. You get a notification when they open it and when they send a message, and it is saved on the house in your map.

Can I see who looked at their postcard?

Yes, house by house. Every postcard has its own link and QR code made for that house, so your results show which homes opened it, how many times and when, the colours and effects they tried on their own house, their taps on Call, Text and Email, and every message or quote request. You get an alert the first time they open it and when they write back, and it is saved on the house in your map so the rep knows who to knock again.

Can you print and mail the postcard?

Yes. Tap Mail it on the house and a printed 6x9 card of their own home lit up, in your design, joins your mailing. It is $0.99 a card, printed and mailed. Cards go out every Sunday night once 20 or more are waiting, or when you press Mail now (also 20 or more). The QR code on each card opens their own lit-up page, and every scan shows in your results.

Can I put my own design on the postcard?

Yes. Every card shows that house lit up, with a design on top. Use ours, with your logo and the line "This is your home, lit up", or make your own: copy our ChatGPT prompt and upload the see-through picture it makes, upload one from your designer, or make it in the app with AI. The house shows through your design on every card, and you can preview the card for each address before it goes. The back carries your note, your phone number and a QR code that opens their own lit-up page.

How is the roofline measured?

From the knock map, Measure roofline uses satellite roof data to give the front, garage, sides, upper floor and peaks in feet in a few seconds. Trace it on the map to fine-tune any section before you quote.

How do I price a job?

Set your price per linear foot for each section, your extras (controller and zones, power runs, programming, the extended warranty plan, old clip removal) and a minimum job price. Your three packages, Front Glow, Curb Appeal and Full Home, are built from those prices, and you can rename or change them.

Can the homeowner sign and pay a deposit at the door?

Yes. They sign the estimate on your phone, or scan a QR code to sign on their own phone, and pay the deposit you set by card. The deposit is 40% to start, and you can change it.

What does the install crew get?

An install sheet with the measurements and a bill of materials worked out from your own rules: track, lights, connectors, clips, power supplies, injection kits, controllers, boxes and wire, with labour and job costing.

How are reps paid?

Pick the plan: a share of gross profit (30% to start), a percent of the sale, a rate per foot or a flat amount, earned when the deposit is paid. Setter splits, self-generated bonuses, per-rep overrides and clawbacks on cancelled jobs are built in, and it all shows in payroll.

How much does it cost?

Pro is $30/mo for one rep, or $25/mo billed yearly. Team is $60/mo for you plus 2 seats, $20 a person ($16.67 billed yearly). Team Pro is $250/mo for you plus 15 seats, 16 people at $15.63 each ($12.50 billed yearly). Every plan has a 14-day free trial with no credit card, and it is month to month.
