Alarm company software built inside an alarm company
Quote the package with monthly monitoring at the kitchen table, get it signed, hand the install to a tech who has the parts, pay the rep and bill the monitoring every month. One record per customer, from the knock to the recurring bill.
14-day free trial · no credit card · from $30/mo · your install techs are free
Most field service apps were built for a plumber who fixes a leak and sends one invoice. An alarm sale works differently. The customer picks a monitoring tier, the equipment comes out of an equipment allowance, there is a 36-month agreement to sign, a rep is waiting on a commission that depends on what was given away, and the money that matters arrives every month for years. FieldStacker was built by a dealer who sold and installed systems, so those pieces were there first, not bolted on later.
Security alarm company software, start to finish
The steps an alarm deal goes through, each one on the same customer.
Find the doors
A knock map with your own pin statuses, GPS-verified knocks, go-backs and owner reveal: draw an area and see up to 500 homeowners' names and whether the home is owner-occupied.
Package quotes with monitoring
Pick the monitoring tier, add panels, sensors, cameras and locks, and the monthly price and due-today amount update as you tap.
Signed at the table
The customer signs on your phone, or scans a QR code to sign and pay on their own phone. A deposit or activation fee can be taken by card.
Installs on a board
Every tech down the side, days across the top. Drag an install to another day or tech, and the customer's calendar invite moves with it.
Stock on every truck
Each tech carries their own count of panels, contacts and detectors. Completing the install takes the parts used off their stock.
Monthly monitoring billing
Monitoring accounts bill the RMR on the billing day, by invoice or autopay, with the CS number and Alarm.com ID on file.

Your monitoring tiers, equipment and install techs, set up for an alarm company. We import your customers for free.
- No credit card to start
- From $30/mo after the trial

- Cancel any time from the app
The package quote the customer can follow
Alarm customers buy a monthly number and a list of what goes in the house. The quote shows both: the monitoring tier, the equipment, what the plan covers and what is extra, the monthly price and what is due today. Change a camera and the numbers change in front of them. Put the same builder on your website so people can price a system before you ever meet them.
- Your own monitoring tiers and equipment price list
- Optional add-ons the customer ticks: video, doorbell, smart lock
- Automatic lines, so a camera brings its install labor with it
- Signed on your phone or by QR code, with the deposit taken by card
Commission math before they leave the house
Alarm reps are paid on what they sold and what they gave away to close it. FieldStacker works the deal out while the rep is still at the table: the monthly price, the contract value over the term, the panel and equipment cost, install labor, what the customer paid up front, and what the rep makes. The customer never sees this panel. When an account cancels early, the chargeback comes off the rep's next payout.
- Per-deal commission, worked out from your own costs
- Chargebacks for accounts that cancel
- Mileage at the IRS rate and a quarterly tax set-aside for 1099 reps
- Territories, a leaderboard and AI objection practice for new reps
Alarm dealer software for the tech in the truck
When the deal is signed, the equipment on the quote becomes the install's parts list. The tech sees what to load before they leave and what they already have. Each tech keeps their own on-hand count, and completing the install takes the panel, contacts and detectors off it. Photos of the panel and the finished job are saved on the customer. Techs join as technicians at no charge, so a dealer with three installers does not pay for three more seats.
- Install schedule with Day, Week and Map views
- A day route in driving order, and "On my way" texts with a tracking link (texting add-on)
- Install checklists you write, ticked off on the tech's phone
- Go-backs for the camera that was back-ordered
The RMR, billed every month
The recurring monthly revenue is why you are in the alarm business. A won quote turns into a monitoring account with the monthly price, any add-on lines, the contract start and term, the central-station name and account number, and the Alarm.com ID. The bill goes out on the billing day, or the card on file is charged. The customer sees the account, the next bill and the card on file in their own portal.
To be plain about it: FieldStacker is not a central-station platform and does not connect to one. Your monitoring center still receives the signals and handles dispatch. FieldStacker keeps the customer, the agreement and the billing.
Alarm company questions
What is alarm company software?
It is the system an alarm company runs its sales, installs and billing on: the quote with the monitoring plan, the signed agreement, the install schedule, the parts each tech carries, the rep's commission and the monthly monitoring bill. FieldStacker does all of those on one customer record, from the first knock to the recurring invoice.
Is FieldStacker security alarm company software or a general CRM?
It started as security alarm company software. The first company on it sold and installed alarm systems door to door, so the alarm quote, the monitoring agreement, installs, tech inventory and commission math were built first. Other trades came later, and the alarm setup is still there when you sign up as an alarm company.
Does it work as alarm dealer software for a small dealer?
Yes. A one-person dealer can run on Pro at $30/mo: knock map, package quotes, e-sign, installs and invoices. Add reps on Team ($60/mo for you plus 2 seats) or Team Pro ($250/mo for 16 people). Techs you add as technicians are free on every plan.
Does FieldStacker connect to my central station or Alarm.com?
No. FieldStacker is not central-station monitoring software. It does not receive signals, dispatch, or sync with a central station or the Alarm.com dealer site. Each monitoring account stores the central-station account number and the Alarm.com ID so your office can find them fast, and you keep using those systems as you do now.
Can it bill monthly monitoring?
Yes. A monitoring account is a billing-only plan: the monthly price, any add-on lines, the central-station number and the Alarm.com ID. The invoice goes out on the billing day, or the card on file is charged with autopay. It never bills backwards for months that have already passed.
How are reps paid?
Each deal shows the rep a commission estimate the customer never sees: the monthly price, the contract value, your costs and the payout. Chargebacks, mileage at the IRS rate and a quarterly tax set-aside are built in for 1099 reps.
